Penguin Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd, an ISO 9001:2008 and SCC** certified Company, was incorporated in 1980, providing Engineering and Construction services to the Oil & Petrol-chemical Industry. Over the years, the Company has matured and grown to become a reputable Contractor in the industry.

The Company provides Maintenance, Engineering Construction and packaging services to various chemical plants located mainly in Jurong Island. The Company's experience and expertise enable it to meet the expectations of its clients, mostly MNCs who are known for their extremely stringent requirements for quality and safety.

The Company continuously pursues advancement by improving its internal Quality and Safety management system and upgrading employees' skills. The Company conducts its own training and retraining of its employees to upgrade their skills. It also sends employees to courses conducted by the various organizations of the Industry to upgrade their knowledge on a regular basis.

The year 1996 was a milestone for the Company when it obtained the ISO9002:1994 (the current ISO9001:2008) certification. The year 2001 was another milestone when it obtained the SCC** certification. In July, it received the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Manpower for its consistently good safety performance over the years.
